The Town of Gananoque’s Trees and Trails Advisory Panel will hold its next meeting on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in Council Chambers at Town Hall, 30 King Street East, with a video conference option available.
Agenda items include approval of the July 16 minutes, public questions on reports, and correspondence from the Ontario Trails Council. Panel members will discuss ongoing projects such as the Murray/Bickerton Gananoque Trails trailhead sign, the Heritage Tree Map under the Tree By-law update, and invasive plant management, including Japanese Knotweed.
Updates from the McLean Forest Sub-Committee will cover sub-committee progress and the Property Management Plan. Trail signage, maintenance, distance markers, and updated trail maps will also be reviewed.
Residents are encouraged to participate, with the Town highlighting accessibility options and the Customer Feedback Form online for those unable to attend in person.
