The Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands has issued updates regarding planning and development matters.
Residents are reminded that all dogs in the Township must be licensed. Tags can be purchased at the Township Office or requested online through the Customer Service link.
Two public meetings are scheduled for September 2, 2025, during the Committee of the Whole meeting, regarding applications for zoning by-law amendments at 405 Downie Island and 104, 1000 Islands Parkway. Details are available on the Township’s Active Applications page.
Additionally, four applications to acquire unopened road allowances are being processed and are scheduled to go before Council on September 8. Information on these applications can also be found on the Township website.
