The merger of the three health units into a unified South East Health Unit continues to bring challenges and more questions than answers at times.
One of the biggest hurdles which lies ahead is union talk, says Board Member Peter McKenna.
On top of that the province is reviewing the role health units play, which leaves an air of uncertainty said Board Member Richard Kidd.
All that said, Kidd’s well aware there’s a lot of work ahead.
The SEHU is also dealing with staff redundancy’s which are being decided on a case-by-case basis, or by individuals leaving for other opportunities.
