A group of local student entrepreneurs will be celebrated at the Summer Company Wrap-Up Event on Thursday from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville, 25 Central Ave. W., Boardroom A.
The event marks the end of the 2025 Summer Company program, which helped students start and run their own small businesses over the summer. Each participant received funding, training, and mentorship from experienced local business owners.
Graduates will receive certificates and awards for completing the program. Local dignitaries attending include MP Michael Barrett, MPP Steve Clark, Warden Corinna Smith-Gatcke, and Mayor Matt Wren.
The program, run by the Leeds Grenville Small Business Office, aims to inspire and support the next generation of business leaders. A full list of graduates will be shared in a media release Thursday evening.
