The Town of Gananoque reminds drivers that construction on the County Road 32 underpass and Highway 401 ramps will continue through November 14, 2025. The project, managed by Louis W. Bray Construction Limited on behalf of the Ministry of Transportation, involves several key upgrades, including concrete repairs to the underside soffits of the underpass, removal and replacement of steel beam guide rails on Highway 401, replacement of a breakaway sign on the highway, and asphalt placement atop the County Road 32 structure.
Motorists are advised to plan for possible delays and follow posted signage in the construction zone. Officials thank the public for their patience while these important infrastructure improvements are completed to enhance road safety and longevity.
