Plenty of support of all ages attended the annual 3M Harvest Lunch and fundraising campaign kick off breakfast at the Brockville Legion on Wednesday morning. A goal of raising $900,000 has been set by the United Way of Leeds and Grenville. Executive Director Hailie Jack says this goal can and will be reached.
Rich Muir, Brockville 3M Plant Director, talks about why 3M got involved with this event.
This was the first year of involvement for the Gananoque Food Bank and Chair of the Board of Directors Mike Cartan expressed his gratitude for the United Way.
MPP Steve Clark and MP Michael Barrett were just a couple of the local dignitaries on hand. Unveiling of the goal can be seen on our Facebook Page along with other pics from the event.
