Residents in the Town of Gananoque are being made aware that the Door to Door Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Safety Campaign will begin in the Town of Gananoque.
Starting September 24th, uniformed fire department staff will be going door to door between 6pm and 7:45pm on Elizabeth Drive, MacDonald Drive, Churchill Drive, the 600 Block of Arthur Street, Connor Drive, Wilmer Avenue and Maplecroft Court.
The knowledgeable team upon arrival at your home, will test smoke and CO alarms, with permission, share helpful safety tips and answer any questions you may have regarding fire protection at your home.
Town of Gananoque Fire Service thanks everyone in the community for your time and cooperation, as they continue to help you stay safe and be sure your home meets the essential safety standards.
The campaign runs until October 8th, which is also part of Fire Prevention Week.
