Gananoque Police were called to a local group home on September 17 after staff members reported being assaulted. Officers arrived and arrested a 12-year-old from Gananoque in connection with the incident.
The youth has been charged with four counts of failing to comply with an undertaking and two counts of assault.
Following the arrest, they were released on an undertaking with conditions and are scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
Police continue to remind the public that, under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, the identity of young persons facing charges cannot be released.
