The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) strike has entered its third week, with no deal reached since job action began on September 25.
Canada Post workers are protesting government reforms they say threaten jobs, wages, and essential delivery services across the country.
At the picket lines, CUPW members spoke about their concerns and hopes for a fair resolution.
One CUPW member highlighted a conflict of interest involving Purolator.
Another CUPW member shared what she hopes to see come out of the strike.
She said it’s about keeping Canadians connected through a reliable postal service.
During the Canada Post strike, cities and towns across the country are adjusting operations to maintain access to essential services.
Municipalities are turning to courier services for election materials, continuing the delivery of government cheques, and warning residents about potential passport and benefits delays.
These efforts aim to keep essential services running while postal disruptions continue nationwide.
