The Town of Gananoque is marking Ontario Agriculture Week by celebrating local farmers and producers at the final Farmers Market of the season. Residents are invited to Town Hall Square on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. to take part in the community celebration.
The event offers a chance to thank local vendors and farmers in person while stocking up on seasonal favourites and homemade goods. From fresh produce to baked treats and handmade crafts, the market highlights the hard work and dedication behind Ontario’s agricultural success.
Ontario Agriculture Week is a time to recognize those who grow, raise, and produce the food that nourishes communities across the province.
Gananoque officials say this final market is not only a farewell to another successful season but also a celebration of the farmers who make local food possible all year long.
