Among the winners were Taylor Stelter, celebrated for her achievements in soccer and volleyball, and Sabbir Ahmed, honoured for his dedication to sports and coaching. Both students spoke about the impact of the award and their passion for inspiring others through athletics.

The Achievement Award supports student-athletes pursuing post-secondary education. Eligible students must attend schools in Kingston and Area Secondary School Athletic Association, provide academic transcripts, and receive coach endorsements. Board Member, Patsy Hawkins Hogan explains how inspiring it is for other students to see their peers receive these awards.
The Kingston and District Sports Hall of Fame says it hopes the Achievement Awards will continue to highlight the hard work and leadership of young athletes in the community. By recognizing their achievements and supporting their future goals, organizers say the program encourages the next generation to stay active, excel academically and give back to their communities.
