The Town of Gananoque has announced that Sydenham Street will be closed between Stone Street South and Charles Street South today through Friday, November 14th, to allow for a service line replacement. Residents and motorists are asked to plan alternate routes during this period, as access to this section of the street will be restricted.
Parking is prohibited on Sydenham Street, particularly in front of 163, 170, and 171, as these spaces will be needed for excavation equipment and work crews. The town thanks residents and visitors for their patience and cooperation while essential infrastructure improvements are completed. Motorists are advised to follow posted detours and exercise caution near the work zone to ensure safety.
