It was a hard fought day for the Gananoque Trojans Junior A Boys Volleyball team at the EOSSAA Championship held at Gananoque Intermediate and Secondary School on Wednesday. The team had a great start to the day, defeating St. John’s in 2 sets along with ESP Mille Iles in 2 sets. In the the Semi-finals the team was puched early by Mackenzie Community School but managed to eliminate them winning both sets 25-16 and 25-12. In the championship match Gan dropped a pair of close sets to ESC Plantagenet, which included a very close 29-27 loss in the final set. This season the Junior Boys Trojans won all 7 tournaments they entered under coach Shawn Warren, finished 1st in the regular season and won their playoff championship.
