Power outages affected some areas of our listening area due to winds that reached nearly 80 km/h yesterday afternoon and into the evening.
According to a social media post from Eastern Ontario Power, All power has been restored to Gananoque area residents and businesses.
Eastern Ontario Power added that if you are still without power, please call 1-844-601-WIRE (5394).
Winds are expected to be near the same today in our region, take your time on the roads today if you are driving or walking on sidewalks, as some areas may be slippery due to the colder temperatures and snow accumulation.
School bus transportation in our region is still currently running on schedule.
