The Gananoque Royals Girls Hockey teams showcased their skills at the Cubtown Tournament in Smiths Falls over the weekend, held at the Smiths Falls Community Centre.
The U15C team captured the gold medal with a tight 1-0 victory over East Ottawa, demonstrating strong teamwork and determination on the ice.
Meanwhile, the U11C team gave it their all in the final, finishing with a close 4-3 loss and earning the silver medal.
Coaches, parents, supporters, and the community expressed pride in both teams for their dedication, sportsmanship, and impressive performances throughout the weekend.
The tournament highlighted the Royals’ talent and commitment to the sport, bringing home medals and memorable experiences for all the players involved.
