The Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands has released a progress update on the new playground structure being installed at Jerry Park.
Municipal staff say the project is moving steadily ahead, and residents are getting their first glimpse of the modern equipment now taking shape.
While excitement is building, the Township reminds the public that the park remains closed for the winter season as construction and site preparation continue.
Come spring, crews will install the required safety surface and complete the final certification inspection to ensure the playground meets all safety standards before opening.
Once the work is finished, the Township plans to host a community grand opening to celebrate the new space and officially welcome families back to the park.
