The Lansdowne Community Building was buzzing last weekend as families gathered for the annual Breakfast with Santa and Festival of Trees, hosted by the Lansdowne Agricultural Society. The festive morning drew a strong turnout, with roughly 215 people attending and about 200 hearty pancake-and-sausage breakfasts served.
Children enjoyed special visits with Santa, sharing their best behaviour stories while posing for keepsake photos. Meanwhile, the hall was transformed with a colourful display of decorated trees and wreaths for the Festival of Trees.
This year’s winners included the LTI Public Library – Lansdowne Branch, which took top honours for Best Decorated Tree. Warren’s Taxidermy earned the award for Best Decorated Wreath. Organizers say the community spirit made the event another holiday season highlight.
