A collision between Reynolds Road and Mallorytown Road that closed the Eastbound lanes of Highway 401 yesterday was cleared just before 11:30pm Thursday night.
According OPP East Region, one child has been transported to hospital with serious injuries. Many other people suffered minor injuries, with some of them also going to hospital.
OPP officers have finished clearing a backlog of vehicles at Reynolds Road and are continuing to clear other vehicles from the area which were not involved in the collisions.
Highway 401 eastbound between Lansdowne and Mallorytown has re-opened.
