The Township of Leeds and Thousand Islands Committee of the Whole will meet Monday, February 2, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in Lansdowne Council Chambers to discuss municipal business, including the adoption of the 2026 operating and capital budgets. Council will consider staff recommendations to grant three readings and final passage to By-law 2026-005, which repeals the 2025 rates and fees by-law and updates general rates and fees for township services.
The meeting will also include a rise-and-report from closed session, discussion of municipal drain appeals, and updates from local boards and committees, including the TLTI Library Board and the Partnership for Economic Enhancement and Revitalization. Residents may participate virtually by registering in advance and are encouraged to follow the meeting for budget details and council decisions.
