The Town of Gananoque is turning holiday cheer into Valentine’s spirit by transforming the former Candy Cane Lane into Lover’s Lane. Despite several feet of snow and Christmas decorations frozen into the ground, Town staff have repurposed the festive display to celebrate Valentine’s Day, which approaches on February 14.
Visitors can enjoy the seasonal makeover at Town Hall Park, where candy cane decorations now blend seamlessly with Valentine-themed hearts and décor. The creative transformation allows residents and visitors to experience a cheerful, winter-friendly display while keeping the spirit of the season alive.
The Town encourages everyone to stop by, take photos, and enjoy the festive atmosphere as part of the community’s seasonal celebrations.
