Lisa Marie Vincent of Gananoque is a volunteer through and through, dedicating much of her time to supporting the local Terry Fox Runs in the region. Describing herself as someone who “lives and breathes volunteering,” Vincent leads a dedicated team of volunteers—her “Dream Team”—helping organize events that bring the community together for a meaningful cause.
Every year, Vincent says she learns something new from her volunteering experiences, whether it’s about event organization, teamwork, or connecting with participants. Despite the challenges of encouraging others to commit to volunteering—especially with busy schedules—she remains committed and passionate about giving back to the community.
Vincent’s energy and dedication have made her a cornerstone of the Terry Fox Run events in the region. She encourages residents to get involved, sharing the message that volunteering, no matter how big or small, has a lasting impact on the community and the causes it supports.
