Seniors in Gananoque are invited to stay active and social with a series of free skating sessions at the Lou Jeffries Arena. Funded through the Government of Ontario and the Town of Gananoque, the program is open to residents aged 55 and over.
Running from March 22nd through March 27th at various times, the sessions offer a fun and welcoming opportunity to enjoy light exercise while skating to classic oldies. Organizers say the initiative is designed to support both physical health and mental well-being, while also encouraging social connection within the community.
Skaters of all experience levels are welcome, whether they are returning to the ice or trying it out for the first time. Participants are encouraged to lace up and take part in the free program. Full details, including specific session times, are listed below.
