The Gananoque Police Service is recognizing Sergeant Mike Driscoll after he received the first-ever Keep Canada Fishing Volunteer of the Year Award.
Driscoll has long been committed to serving and protecting the community, while also giving back through volunteer efforts. One of his most notable contributions is the Kids and Cops Fishing Days program, which brings local youth, families, and police together in a positive and engaging environment.
Police officials say Driscoll’s passion for fishing and community involvement has helped build strong connections and lasting memories for participants.
The service says it is proud to celebrate Driscoll’s achievement, calling the award a well-deserved honour that reflects his dedication both on and off duty in the Gananoque community.
