An urgent sewer repair in Gananoque is continuing today, with crews working to complete the job ahead of the weekend.
The Town of Gananoque says William Street North remains closed between North Street and North Alley as repairs to key underground infrastructure move forward.
Officials expect the work to wrap up by around 6 p.m., allowing the road to reopen in time for weekend traffic.
Drivers are still being asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes while crews remain on site.
The town says the repair is necessary to maintain the reliability of the sewer system and prevent further issues.
