Public Health has declared the COVID-19 outbreak over at the Carveth Care Centre in Gananoque, effective immediately.
Visitations, outings, and general visitors have now resumed under Public Health guidance. Masks are encouraged but no longer required. Residents and visitors are still being asked not to attend if they are feeling unwell.
Hand hygiene measures remain in place and must be followed on entry, during visits, and upon exit to help maintain a safe environment for residents and staff.
The associated retirement lodge has also been declared outbreak-free and is operating under a clear health status.
Officials thank residents, families, and staff for their cooperation throughout the outbreak period and emphasize continued vigilance through good hygiene practices as normal operations resume across the facility.
