Smile Cookie Week is underway starting today, Monday, April 27th, with the Gananoque Tim Hortons taking part despite ongoing renovations at the restaurant.
Customers can still purchase Smile Cookies, with all proceeds supporting the Linklater Breakfast Club at Linklater Public School in Gananoque.
While construction continues, staff are serving customers from a mobile service trailer, and the drive-thru remains fully open throughout the campaign.
The annual Smile Cookie initiative runs coast to coast and raises funds for local organizations chosen by restaurant owners.
Organizers say every cookie sold helps support local students by ensuring access to healthy morning meals, and the community’s continued support is welcomed during the renovation period.
