The first of its kind for Gananoque seniors will be set to open starting Monday at the upstairs portion of the Gananoque Legion. The new Gananoque Seniors Activity Centre will be open three days per week. Here’s Shannon Griggs from the Gananoque Seniors Association to tell us more.
Griggs says there are plenty of things planned at no cost to participants.
Along with the grant, it wouldn’t be possible without plenty of others as well.
The activity centre will have something for everyone and plenty of room for the refreshments.
An open house is set for 1-3pm this Friday May 1st. Griggs added that the goal is to have enough interest, to run the activity centre Monday through Friday.
