The Gananoque Royals have recognized the recipients of this year’s Volunteer Awards, celebrating individuals who have contributed their time and dedication to the organization throughout the hockey season.
The awards are presented annually to highlight the important role volunteers play in supporting players, families, and the overall success of the Royals program. Organizers say the initiative is a way to formally acknowledge those who consistently give back to help create a positive and supportive environment for local athletes.
This year’s recipients were nominated by members of the Royals community in recognition of their hard work, commitment, and positive impact both on and off the ice.
The organization extended its thanks to all volunteers, noting that their efforts are essential to the success of minor hockey in Gananoque. Officials say the strong volunteer base continues to be a cornerstone of the Royals’ community-focused approach.
