The Brockville Police Service is asking residents and businesses in the city’s north end to review video surveillance footage as part of an ongoing femicide investigation.
Police are requesting footage recorded between Wednesday, May 6 at 10 p.m. and Thursday, May 7 at 2 p.m. Investigators say footage from trail cameras, doorbell cameras, home and business security systems, and dash cameras could help the case.
Investigators are searching for a person described as approximately six feet tall, about 280 pounds, with a heavy-set build, brown hair and possibly wearing dark clothing.
Police say even footage that appears unimportant, or video captured outside the identified search area, may still provide valuable information for investigators.
Anyone with information or footage is asked to contact Detective Constable McCullough at 613-342-0127 ext. 2099 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
Police are also asking the public not to share footage or information on social media to protect the integrity of the investigation.
