Residents in Lansdowne are being reminded that the new playground and splash pad at Jerry Park are not yet open to the public.
Township officials say installation of the safety surface is expected to begin soon as work on the project continues. Until construction is fully completed, the public is being asked to respect all posted signage and fencing surrounding the site and avoid entering the area.
Officials note the playground and splash pad cannot open until final work is complete and the site passes a certification inspection.
Once the project receives final approval, the Township says plans are in place to host a community gathering and grand opening celebration.
The new park features are expected to provide an upgraded recreational space for local families and visitors to enjoy during the summer months.
