Residents and motorists in Gananoque are being advised to expect traffic delays beginning today on Charles Street North between Brock Street and Garden Street.
Town officials say the work is part of ongoing storm drainage improvements that first began last year and are now continuing through this section of the roadway. Construction crews are expected to be active in the area throughout the project, which may result in reduced traffic flow and temporary disruptions for drivers.
Motorists are being asked to use caution when travelling through the construction zone, obey all posted signage, and allow additional travel time whenever possible.
The Town says no completion date has been determined at this time, but updates on the project will continue to be shared through the municipal website and social media channels.
Officials are thanking residents and drivers for their patience and cooperation while the infrastructure improvements are completed.
