From comics to pro wrestling, it will all be in Gananoque Sunday May 31st for the first Gananoque ComiCon held at the Lou Jeffries Arena from 10am until 3pm. David Wyldstar from Pop Culture Canada says a local connection, was why they chose to come to Gananoque.
Wyldstar says ComiCon is just the start of the day.
He tells us what you will see this weekend.
Wyldstar says having this show here made sense thanks to a connection to Dan and Gene Day, who used to draw comics for our local newspaper many years ago. Special guest Alyson Court from the hit show The Big Comfy Couch and the voice of Lydia Deets from the popular morning cartoon show Beetlejuice will be on hand. More details can be found below. Donations of food items and money will accepted all day and will go to support the Gananoque Food Bank.
