Gananoque Council will meet on Wednesday, June 3, with several community and infrastructure matters scheduled for discussion.
Among the agenda items is a delegation from Schuyler Earl, who will present a request to repurpose the BMX track at the Community Centre. Council will also hear a presentation from students representing the Municipal Drug Strategy Youth Hub initiative at Gananoque Secondary School.
Several staff reports are scheduled for consideration, including updates on the East End Pumping Station project, the renewal of an automatic aid agreement with the Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands Fire Department, and the adoption of 2026 tax rates and ratios.
Council will also review proposed contract awards for concrete repairs, asphalt maintenance, and line painting projects.
The meeting begins at 5 p.m. at Town Hall, following a closed session scheduled for 4:30 p.m. to discuss municipal negotiations.
