Motorists and pedestrians in Gananoque are being advised to plan for temporary traffic disruptions today at the intersection of Clarence Street and Market Street.
The Town of Gananoque says contractors are scheduled to begin work to replace a catch basin at the intersection. Access within the immediate construction area may be restricted, and drivers could encounter delays while crews complete the infrastructure repair.
Residents are being asked to use caution, follow all posted signage and obey directions from onsite personnel when travelling through the area. Pedestrians should also remain alert and avoid restricted sections of the work zone.
The Town says the project is necessary to maintain local infrastructure. No official timeline has been provided for when the work will be completed today. Officials are thanking the public for its patience and cooperation during the construction.
