Gananoque Council took time during its June 3 meeting to recognize the contributions of local students involved with the Municipal Drug Strategy Youth Hub.
Gananoque Intermediate and Secondary School students Chandler Croft and Jascha Jager were presented with Certificates of Achievement in recognition of their commitment and efforts through the program. Council also acknowledged Eli Deak for his involvement, although he was unable to attend the meeting.
The Municipal Drug Strategy Youth Hub gives local youth an opportunity to share their perspectives on issues affecting young people, contribute to community initiatives, and help guide programs that support health and well-being.
Council praised the students for their dedication and willingness to become actively involved in building a healthier and more engaged community for local youth.
