Here’s what’s happening in Gananoque and the Thousand Islands:

Wednesday is a busy day planned at the Lansdowne Public Library. Learn to Knit and Crochet at 10:30am. Or if you’re into playing chess, come join the Chess Nuts group at 3:45pm. All ages welcome.

The Wrinkle Room upstairs at the Gananoque Legion welcomes all seniors for activities from 1-4pm. Come for the social hour from 1-1:30pm. Learn to play Mahjong from 1-3pm. Or if you’re into crafts and painting. Learn to paint from 2-4pm. The upstairs level is full accessible for all seniors.

Try your luck at Bingo at the Gananoque Legion at 6:30pm on Thursday evening.

Linklater Public School in Gananoque will host the Linklater Marathon Club Finale is scheduled for Thursday, June 11th, 5-6pm.

Over the past 7 weeks, Linklater students have been running laps around the Linklater Marathon Club track in an effort to reach a total of 42.2 km. On Thursday evening, Linklater families are invited to come to the school for a hotdog and a smoothie (courtesy of The Hungry Herbivore and the Linklater Breakfast Club) and to watch the students run their final kilometre in front of their friends and family.
