Motorists in Gananoque are being advised to plan for possible delays next week as service connection work takes place on King Street East.
The Town of Gananoque says a partial lane closure and traffic disruptions are scheduled near 580 King Street East on June 18 and 19. While traffic will continue to move through the work zone, drivers should expect delays and exercise caution when travelling in the area.
Motorists are being asked to reduce their speed, obey all posted signage, and follow directions from traffic-control personnel.
Town officials say access to nearby homes and businesses will be maintained whenever possible throughout the project.
The work is necessary to complete a service connection, and the Town is thanking residents, businesses, and motorists for their patience and cooperation while construction crews complete the work.
