Given the number of semi recks along the Highway 401 Corridor over these last few weeks, East Region OPP are stressing the importance of being safe behind the wheel.
Sgt. Erin Cranton says the messaging is simple when it comes to road safety.
Cranton says everyone needs to put their phones down while driving.
She adds another reminder for drivers when it comes to collisions involving transport trucks that cause road closures.
Cranton says it’s everyone’s responsibility to be safe, alert and patient on the roads to make sure all motorists and their families get home safe.
