A reminder that nominations are still open for the next members of council in both the Town of Gananoque and Township of Leeds and Thousand Islands.
In TLTI Corinna Smith Gatcke remains the only Mayor candidate. Brian Mabee is on the ballot for Ward 1, Monique Antoine Hartley for Ward 2, while John McCallister and Christopher Buczynski are on the list for English Public School Board Trustee. No names are on the unofficial list for Ward 3.
In Gananoque as of June 3rd, Colin Brown is listed as a candidate for Mayor with Mike O’Callaghan has been nominated for a council seat.
Nominations close for the Municipal Election August 21st at 2pm.
