Residents and visitors using the Howe Island County-operated ferry are reminded that the service will be temporarily out of operation today for scheduled maintenance.
The ferry will be out of service from 9:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. while maintenance crews complete planned work.
Anyone planning to travel to or from Howe Island during that time is encouraged to make alternate arrangements or adjust their travel plans to avoid delays.
County officials expect the ferry to return to regular service at 1:00 p.m., provided the maintenance work is completed as scheduled. Passengers are thanked for their patience and understanding during the temporary interruption.
