A section of Coopers Alley in Gananoque is temporarily closed today to allow for important gas service repairs.
The Town of Gananoque says Coopers Alley at 138 King Street East is closed to both pedestrian and vehicle traffic while crews from Enbridge Gas complete the necessary work.
No specific timeline for completion has been provided, but residents are being asked to avoid the area while repairs are underway. Motorists and pedestrians should follow any posted signage and directions from crews working on site.
The Town is thanking residents and visitors for their patience and cooperation as the repairs are completed. Officials say the temporary closure is needed to ensure the work can be carried out safely and efficiently.
