The public unveiling of the new Amalgamation Flag was held yesterday evening in front of the Municipal Building in Lansdowne. Communications and Community Engagement Coordinator Tracy Holland praised all who submitted logos for the flag and congratulated the winner.
TLTI Mayor Corinna Smith-Gatcke offered her congratulations and thanks to everyone involved.
Smith-Gatcke talked about the importance of the amalgamation.
Several councilors and residents attended the ceremony on Monday evening. Jackson, a former member of Township Council, received a congratulatory certificate from Mayor Smith-Gatcke on his achievement.
