Before we know it hockey season will be here in Gananoque. At the Gord Brown Memorial Outdoor Rink Saturday July 11th Next Shift Hockey Canada will be hosting an equipment giveaway from 10am until 3pm. Organizer Cassandra Revelle talked bout how the event came to be.
Revelle says this event took a lot of hard work to get together.
She hopes this becomes an annual tradition.
Revelle had plenty of people to thank.
Donations of old gear are welcome and exchanges can be made to help get families geared up for the coming season. Registration can be done online by scanning a QR code.
