Gananoque Council will tackle a number of infrastructure, financial and community items when it meets on Wednesday, July 15 at Town Hall.
Council will receive a monthly update on the East End Pumping Station project from Public Works Manager David Armstrong. Staff reports will also include the Gananoque Public Library’s quarterly update, an application for financing through the Ontario Infrastructure and Lands Corporation, and a recommendation to award a contract for sidewalk inspection and reporting.
Council will also consider a beautification proposal for Stone Street North at Charles Street North, along with several motions directing staff on issues including the King Street Bridge, amendments to the Sale and Disposition of Land Policy, and changes to the Water Works By-law.
The meeting will include notice of a future public meeting regarding a proposed plan of subdivision and development permit application for vacant lands south of Elmwood and west of Arthur Street.
Council will also move into closed session to discuss several confidential matters, including negotiations, personnel issues, and a judicial review update.
