The Lansdowne Fair gets back underway this afternoon, bringing a weekend of family entertainment, agricultural displays and midway excitement to the community.
Gates open at 3 p.m. today, with the World’s Finest Shows Midway starting at the same time. The opening day features Seniors’ Day activities, including a free paint party, live music, ice cream, games and a snack social. The grandstand schedule includes a Pony Pull at 4 p.m. and the Eastern Ontario Draft Horse Pulling Association Horse Pull at 7:30 p.m.
Saturday’s lineup includes livestock and poultry events, horse shows, demonstrations, canine circus performances, magic shows, midway rides and the popular demolition derby at 7 p.m.
The fair continues Sunday with more exhibits, entertainment and attractions, wrapping up with the Kids’ Pedal Tractor Pull at 3:30 p.m.
