The Town of Gananoque is reminding residents of several locations available to help stay cool during the ongoing extreme heat.
The Gananoque Public Library, located at 100 Park Street, is open several days throughout the week, including extended hours Tuesday and Wednesday until 7 p.m.
Other available spaces include the Wrinkle Room Gan Seniors Association at 55 King Street East, the Gananoque Visitor Centre at 10 King Street East with free water bottle filling and public washrooms, and the Soup Kitchen of Gananoque at 147 King Street East.
Residents are encouraged to use these spaces while taking precautions during the hot weather.
