A 32-year-old Gananoque resident is facing an assault charge following a reported incident involving family members.
Gananoque Police say officers responded to a 9-1-1 call from a local residence on July 14, 2026, regarding an assault that had just occurred. Police say the suspect had left the scene before officers arrived.
An investigation was launched, and police obtained a warrant in connection with the incident. On July 15, the 32-year-old person turned themselves in to police.
The accused was charged with assault and was released on an undertaking with conditions.
