The Lansdowne Agricultural Society is asking residents to “Give Clothes a Second Chance” through its upcoming Closet Sale fundraiser. The sale will take place August 29 and 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lansdowne Fair Ground Exhibit Hall.
Organizers are currently accepting donations of gently used clothing, footwear, accessories, warmwear, home items, books and magazines. Drop-off dates are scheduled for August 8 from 9 to 10 a.m., August 11 from 4 to 6 p.m., August 15 from 9 to 10 a.m., August 18 from 4 to 6 p.m., and August 22 from 9 to 10 a.m.
The Lansdowne Agricultural Society says the event is an opportunity to give unwanted items a new life while supporting the community. More information is available at lansdownefair.ca.
