Not even bad weather could stop the determined crew at the 162nd annual Lansdowne Fair. Wayne Shields from the Lansdowne Fair Board said even with the tough weather they were up against on Saturday, it was still an overall success.
Thursday saw the same numbers as the year before and had this to say about the remainder of the weekend.
Everyone had pitched in and did a great job including the members of the Junior Fair Board.
He had plenty of others to thank for the success of the fair this year.
All shows were able to go on as scheduled despite the weather being the biggest factor on the Saturday. He said the busiest day was Sunday as residents and visitors packed the fairgrounds for a day of fun in Lansdowne.
