Motorists travelling westbound on Highway 401 near County Road 32 should prepare for overnight traffic changes beginning August 9.
The Ontario Ministry of Transportation has retained Louis W. Bray Construction Limited to complete deficiency repairs to the underside of the County Road 32 underpass. Construction is scheduled to run from August 9 through August 21.
As part of the project, the westbound Highway 401 on-ramp at County Road 32 will be closed overnight from approximately 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. on selected nights. Officials note the closures will not occur every night, and advance warning signs will be posted before any ramp closures.
During the overnight work, westbound Highway 401 traffic will be reduced to a single lane through the construction zone.
The eastbound and westbound Highway 401 off-ramps at County Road 32 will remain open throughout the project, and there will be no impact to traffic on County Road 32 itself
